Abstracts

We offer 2 different opportunities:

  • Single presentation (15-20 minutes slot; requires at least 1 paying author)
  • Organized session (2 hours with several presentations; requires at least 4 paying authors)

For an organized session you do not submit an abstract for a single presentation, but one for a complete session (2 hours).  It is mainly used for research projects or workshops or clustering activities or similar that would like to disseminate their results in more than one presentation that are all in the same session. Please submit a proposed agenda together with your abstract.

 

Please send your abstract indicating the type (single presentation/invited session), the title,  the author(s), affiliation(s) and the abstract (1 A4 page maximum!) by email, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat or plain text in time to [email protected]

 

Payment of at least one registration fee "Speaker" € 990,- (excl. 20% VAT) per abstract is strictly due within 20 days after receipt of abstract acceptance notification.

PAPERs

Authors of accepted abstracts will receive a paper template and detailed Author Guidelines with the acceptance email.

We will offer 2 possibilities:

  • Full paper (6-10 pages) or
  • Extended abstract (2-4 pages)

 

Authors will receive the Paper template together with the acceptance notification of their abstracts.

 

– Proceedings papers:

  • 6 to 10 pages for full papers and 2-4 pages for extended abstracts
  • Not peer reviewed (abstract review only)
  • Contains all full papers and extended abstracts received
  • Copyright transfer is not required
  • Distributed in the online proceedings (secured area on the conference webpage) which are delivered only to conference participants
  • Final papers/extended abstracts must be submitted by August 31, 2026 for accepted abstracts and July 31, 2026 for conditionally accepted abstracts

 

Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2026 Collection @ Open Research Europe for papers with European author:

  • Additional open access opportunity for full papers with at least 1 European author
  • The eligibility criteria for publishing with Open Research Europe are the following:

-        At least one author must be involved in a running or finished research project from the European Commission and the article must be a result of that project.

-        The article must be original work (see section on Originality).

  • It is planned that the eligibility will be extended in October to all authors from Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland (regardless of project funding).
  • There are no fees for publication for European Commission beneficiaries and all publication costs are covered by the European Commission.
  • Every paper receives a DOI and is indexed in Scopus, Google Scholar and several other indexes
  • Full-paper (6 to 10 pages) peer-reviewed
  • The European author has to submit the paper her-/himself to the Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2026 Collection
  • Present the paper at the conference. If you fail to attend, your paper will not be published in the Going Green – CARE INNOVATION 2026 Collection.

Notes: 

  • All presenters, including oral session presenters, poster presenters, and organized-session presenters, can submit a paper (Collection paper submissions are not restricted to oral presenters).
  • The conference registration and payment are required in order to complete the final paper submission.
